Materials

The Cocoon Aeris is made from polished stainless steel, that gives the shell of the fireplace a shiny silver finish. The included ceiling rod and bracket is made from polished stainless steel.

Over time, the top of the fireplace might take on a bit of a "champagne" colour, because of the heat that the steel is exposed to.

The Cocoon Aeris weighs only 24 kg, meaning it can be mounted on almost any ceiling. It looks elegant in any room, with its unique suspension, that makes the fire look like a floating globe. You can rotate the fireplace 360 degrees, making the flames enjoyable from any angle.

Mounting Rod

The included mounting rod is a telescopic pole that can easily be adjusted in height in 6 levels between 98.5 - 142 cm. With the fireplace attached to the rod, the maximum length will be 182.5 cm.

It is possible to extend the length of the rod further with extension poles. They are available in 500 mm and 1000 mm

Free Standing Cocoon Aeris

When designing the Cocoon Aeris, Federico Otero made the decision that it should be possible to convert the ceiling-mounted Cocoon Aeris into the free-standing Cocoon Pedestal fireplace.

By switching out the ceiling mount and rod with the Cocoon Base Holder you will be able to transform your Cocoon Aeris into a Cocoon Pedestal within minutes.

The screws for mounting are not included.
